Oia

Visit the beautiful village of Oia, built in the northern part of the caldera rim. Oia is the most photographed location in Santorini and a place where many artists have found their inspiration in Oia’s beauty, the traditional architecture, and the amazing sunset. Enjoy the stunning views of the caldera, where many dwellings are built into niches of the volcanic rock. You will also have a panoramic view of the rest of Santorini and the Aegean Sea.

Imerovigli

Breathtaking view overlooking the Aegean Sea, Volcano, and Caldera. The village of Imerovigli built high above the caldera cliff with an incredible view. In front of the village is an enormous rock called Skaros, which used to be the best spot to look out for pirates.

Firostefani

We also visit the famous Blue Dome Church in Firostefani, the subject of so many Santorini’s postcards.

Prophet Ilias

Make your way to the peak of Prophet Ilias, the highest mountain that stands some 2,000 feet (600 meters) above the sea. Be amazed by the island vistas around you (360 degrees), and then follow your guide inside the ornate Greek Christian monastery perched at the mountain’s summit.

Pyrgos

Akrotiri Archaeological Site

Explore the Akrotiri Archaeological Site, a prehistoric Bronze Age city, frozen in time by ash that fell during the Minoan volcanic eruption 3600 years ago. Some speculate that this is the origin of the mythical city of Atlantis. Admire the elaborate drainage system, sophisticated multi-storied buildings, magnificent wall painting, and excavated furniture and vessels that show the former settlement’s great prosperity.

Note: The Akrotiri Archaeological Site is open to the public from 9:00 to 20:00 Tuesday to Sunday. All Santorini Sites and Museums are closed on Mondays. Visitors are welcome to explore the archaeological site of Akrotiri at their own pace. An average visit can take 30 minutes.

Red Beach

Admire the red layer of sand at the Red Beach. What makes the beach absolutely charming is its impressive red rock formations, which form a breathtaking landscape.

Emporio

The village of Emporio is the largest village on the Greek island of Santorini. You can look at the historic windmills that have an excellent view of the rest of the island. On the hill above the village Emborio, you will discover both the ruins of Kasteli, a fortress from the Byzantine period and the ruins of Goulas.

Black Beach

Visit the black beach of Perivolos, the largest beach on Santorini, and is covered with a black volcanic pebble. Take in the spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and the nearby islands. Enjoy an optional lunch at a seaside restaurant.

Cruise passenger pick-up

The meeting point for the tour is at the cable car’s exit in Fira town. Your guide will wait for you there, holding a sign with your name. Please note, all cruise passengers with individual programs are taken to the old Port of Fira, by tender boats. From the old port, you will take the cable car up to Fira town. The journey with a cable car takes 3 minutes and costs €6 EUR. The approximate start of the tour should be 90 minutes after the scheduled arrival of the cruise ship. Please include the name and arrival time of your ship, and full name and mobile phone number when booking of the tour in order for your pickup to be arranged.
